'Modern cards'

I have just discovered that I only have 300mb of image space on the blog, so I have downsized future cards in order to save space. They can still be enlarged by clicking on the image.

A 'Dennis' Card No. c 0717

Late 50s or early 60s (unless anyone knows
better). At this time no pedestrianisation has taken place.
The Cumberland News office is just beyond the Midland Bank.

This is a 'Dennis card possibly of the late 1970s.
The underground toilets are still there and the old
'Lanes' shops. Partial pedestrianisation has taken place,
anybody remember the trees and the 1000s of birds
that would perch there before flying off in the autumn?

Two reproduction cards showing vehicles at the
Co-op Bakery, they are Seddon vans. Kwik-Fit
now occupies the site on Junction St.

Late 50s or early 60s going by the vehicle
No. plates.

No problem here, card is dated 1965
and shows loads of old cars around the
station. The taxi office is in the centre of
the picture.
